This is it, the week we’ve been talking about, hearing about and thinking about. On Monday, Pluto will retrograde, on Tuesday we will have a lunar eclipse in Aries and Libra. Mercury, the communication planet, will slide into the danger zone of Uranus and Pluto. The grand cross is forming in the sky and will take place on April 22. Life is changing, transformation is in the air and we are all in a tailspin of activity. Emotions hanging around us will come to a head and be cleared.
Last week on April 8, retrograde Mars opposed the Sun, something that happens every time in the Mars retrorade cycle. Think back to around Valentine’s Day – what was going on? I ask this because it was in that moment that Mars was making a happy aspect to the Sun. Life seemed to be making sense and going somewhat smoothly in mid February, it was the calm before the storm. But since then, Mars has traveled backwards and greeted the Sun in this opposition aspect, which may bring to light some flaws in our thinking or at least a bit of a bumpy ride. It was certainly not a day to have a heated conversation, though many occurred.
It’s a dramatic time right now and I recommend that we try to not indulge the chaos. As I have mentioned in the past, this is not the time to press forward despite the itching desire to force certain situations. It’s not time for confrontation or doing anything impulsive – but you will feel that you need to confront immediately. Don’t let that happen. Go for a walk, get out of your head, stay grounded. Keep your head down and work. This is only the beginning of this intense time and we don’t have all the information yet. If you feel this difficulty, hang in there, stay tuned and we will all get through this together. It’s Spring and new life is happening everywhere, that is one thing to celebrate.
